Hello,
I come to your forum because I need explications on your applications.
More than 10 years ago, we started building our cockpit (737 800 NG) ( http://www.737project.com ) originally based on FS2004 + FSUIPC + Project Magenta.
Today, we switched to P3D V3 with a PMDG B737NGX.
The cockpit uses 7 PCs connected in network with Wide client, the PC P3D having Wide server + FSUIPC.
We only use 2 PNP modules (EFIS Cb + EFIS Fo). The cockpit is managed by master cards on different PCs depending on the function (MIP - PEDESTAL - MCP - EICAS L / R ...)
We would like to connect our SIOC applications to the P3D PMDG offset and I think we should use the OC4BAv4 application for this ?
The application must be installed only on the PC of P3D or on each PC where there is SIOC ?
She replace the sioc application or she work with ?
Do you have documentation in French ?
Thank you for your help.

Re: new user
Very good looking cockpit you have built!
OC4BAv4 should be able to drive the your PMDG B737 cockpit just fine.
I would recommend that you just run SIOC and OC4BAv4 on ONLY 1 PC, but it should be able to be running on several PCs. but I have not tested this
Please tell me me how you have SIOC and your modules connected today. Do you have it on all 7 PC or only a few of them?
OC4BAv4 do not replace the need for SIOC, you need both SIOC and OC4BAv4.
I only have documentation in English, but you can use Google translate.

Hello mvr1918
Thank you very much for your compliment for the build of our cockpit, it is very nice .
I do not think it is possible to use a single SIOC because my cockpit works with:
PC MIP = 1 USB - 3 master - 2 servo
PC MCP = 1 USB - 2 master - 3 display
PC PED = 1 USB - 2 master - 4 display
PC FMS = 1 key card
PC OVH = 2 servo
PC P3D = P3D + FSUIPC + IOCP
PC AUX = Only for connect network internet and cockpit network (security)
Can you tell me how your application connects to P3D ? (simconnect ?) (by network ?)
The price indicated is for one application ?
If you come to France one day, we may have the opportunity to see us ...
Thank you for your help.
François.

I have never understood the reason behind having IOCARDS distributed over several PC's, but maybe I have missed something?
Why do you need to have IOCARDS distributed over 6 PC?
With OC4BAv4 you could have SIOC, OC4BAv4 and all IOCARDS connected via USB to the same PC that is running P3D and FSUIPC.
In addition you could have PC for the outside views.
I have everything in 1 PC. 7 screens. P3D is running smooth with high FPS.
The CPU load of SIOC, OC4BAv4 and all IOCARDS are below. ( OC4BAv4 alone takes around 0.02 CPU load).
It would also simplify everything a lot with only 1 PC.
The OCP4NGX driver is a SIOC client on one side and a SIMConnect on the other side. It is C++ coded.
The license fee of ONE OPC4NGX driver is 49 EURO

Hello mvr1918,
I think you're right about the number of PCs.
The construction was done in time (10 years) which explains that we added PCs and 10 years ago the pc were less efficient .
We will try to regroup.
To display your screens, you use which device (usb-VGA) ?
Thank you for your help.

See http://flightsim4fun.com/b737-800-simulator.html
The BenQ and Samsung connection is HDMI. The Samsung is now a 4K 55". I use the Samsung in 4K when flying other planes and in 2K(1920*1200) as a duplicate to the BenQ which is the front view or it is just shut down.
The others( MIP displays and CDU Captain display) are all VGA. The CDU F.O. is just a dummy without active display.
In order to increase the FPS ( if necessay, one can make the F.O. MIP displays duplicates of teh Captain MIP display.
