operating error
Thanks for everything. I just bought OC4BAv4. I installed it.
I followed the steps and it seemed that everything worked fine, but when I turned it off the first time and restarted, P3D stopped working. I send a link with the video.
I did not get to make a flight. I just tried to undo the screens (although I could not undock the PFD - captain's Primary Flight Display) and save the stage.
When restarting P3D it gave a problem of scene ... as it is seen in the video.
https://youtu.be/BoNeehTeVWA
I'm going to register in the forum and I'll put this information too.
I had to remove OC4BAv4 and I also had to reinstall P3D. I do not know if the problem was OC4BAv4, Sioc or the simulator. I had to uninstall the three.
Is there anyone with the program who speaks Spanish?
regards
Fermín López

Re: operating error
Did you read the Spanish documentation I sent you?
Do not install Prepar3D in the "Program Files" folder.
Have you checked that you have the very last version of PMDG 737NGX? Check with PMDG Operaions Center.
Regarding the the Captain's PFD read this Info from PMDG:
P3D Captain PFD pop-up CTD protection has been added to all three product lines. Since we have been unsuccessful in our efforts to convince Lockheed Martin to evaluate this CTD seriously, we have locked out the ability to use the CA's PFD as a pop-up display, but we included an option in the PMDG Options menu within the FMS that allows the user to Opt-In to having this popup work. (NOTE: This particular CTD, for those who do not know, affects a small percentage of users who use the CA PFD as a popup, but the CTD doesn't happen until you have been flying somewhere between 3-8 hours of actual elapsed time. This CTD began to appear in P3D v3.1 after Lockheed Martin pushed that update- and no root cause has been found after literally thousands of hours of tests internally at PMDG- so we took this step in order to minimize the number of customers affected by it without realizing the cause...)
You can enable this in the FMC Options. Go to Menu/PMDG Setup/Options/Simulation
If you need more help I can connect via TeamViewer

Re: operating error
Yes, I read the information, but I already had P3D installed in Program Files.
I guess I'll have to make a new installation of P3D from 0 and also all the necessary addons ... it will be a long job ...
I'll tell you.
Regarding the emergent windows, I do not understand what CTD is.
I will leave those options as they are in the image.
Thank you very much

PD. Do you know if there are users who speak Spanish?

Re: operating error
The CTD is "Crash to Desktop".
I have enabled the Capatain's PFD a long time ago and have NEVER encounter any CTD. It is just a small number of PMDG users that have this issue.
There are many hundred spanish users that have the OC4BAv4. How many of these that has register here in the forum I do not know.
Hopefully someone get in touch with you.

Re: operating error
Hi. I have tried again to reinstall p3d, pmdg, sioc and OC4BAv4 ... It still does not work. It works the first time, but when you close the p3d, it stops working for the following times ... The SIOC goes crazy.
While fucniona the first time, the ADF1 (stamby) has not worked
You have to uninstall everything again, especially OC4BAv4 and SIOC
I have everything installed in C: Program files
Can you give me some advice? Thank you

Re: operating error
Please read documentation where to best install all software:
To avoid any Windows security problems and other troubles, I recommend to NOT have your
flightsim(s) (FSX, FSX-SE, P3D) or SIOC installed in the C:\Program Files or C:\Program
Files(x86) folders. This is recommended also by the big flightsim companies, i.e. PMDG.
rksoftware uses the following folder paths and have no problems:
FSX is located in D:\FSX P3D is located in D:\P3D SIOC is located in D:\SIOC
D:\SIOC
You can also send a zipped SIOC folder to roarkrsp@gmail.com or a ONEDRIVE link to it.
If you do that I can have a look at it.

Re: operating error
If you have Windows OS, PMDG software, SIOC software correctly installed and install OC4BAv4 as stated in the documentation IT IS GOING TO WORK OK.
There are LOT of installtions so far and to this day I have not heard anyone not getting it to work as it should.
I can't tell what is your problem as you just say it is not working.
I need some details.
Send :
SIOC folder as zip file
WIndows OS version
PMDG version
SIOC version
Opencockpits modules connected to your PC.
Then I have some details to look into.

Re: operating error
Hi. Thanks for the reply.
I have the latest version of sioc: SIOC V6.0B8
W10
P3D v4 (updated)
337 NGX PMDG for P3d (updated)
Connected modules:
MCP 737NG V3 white digits (mounted and boxed)
EFIS 737 (mounted and boxed)
ATC Module 737 p & p
Module COM 737 p & p
Module NAV 737 p & p (NAV 1)
Module NAV 737 p & p (NAV 2)
Module ADF 737 p & p
At the moment, for flaps, gear ... I use M-panel from vrinsght. But I do not usually start it up. I use Saiteck levers.
The sequence that I use: once installed the OC4BAv4 is: I start the P3D, then module OC4BAv4 (in modules) and I choose 737 from the screen of OC4BAv4 (it is the first)).
Everything works perfectly except for some switch with the test, ligts test. It is not a big problem.
I can do some flight and the modules work very well, better than with Prosim737.
I close the p3d. I can no longer reload the p3d (even if I turn off the computer)
This video is when I try to launch the P3d
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoNeehTeVWA
To use the P3d, I have to delete all the OC4BAv4 files. Not only uninstall it, but also manually remove all the files that are left in the computer, including those of sioc.
When I reinstall the OC4BAv4 I send the sioc in zip

Re: operating error
Sorry that you have this problem, OC4BAv4 should work just fine with your modules.
There are many reasons for P3Dv4 to hang and not to be responsive.
If it happens you can try to open Task Manager and end P3D as a task under "Background" programs.
This do not solved the problem, but should make it possible to rerun P3Dv4 without any uninstalling of other programs.
The problem could be related to another addons, also SIOC or FSUIPC.
I suggest that you try to uninstall SIOC and OC4BAv4 and reinstall the older SIOC v5.1 and OC4BAv4. If you do not have the old SIOC v5.1, I can send you a copy.
I really liked your commnet:
" I can do some flight and the modules work very well, better than with Prosim737"
Yes, I belive for 49 Euros compared to 1200 Euros it works great:)
