Hello
I have installed the latest version of oc4bav4 and sioc 5.01 most things work a lot better much faster nob scrolling etc but i have problems with the open cockpits fmc and the mcp.
The fmc has the message offset light , on all the time and the exec key works but the green led wont light up, the mcp has a problem with engaging vnav
any ideas please. I have gone back to the old version of oc4ba and sioc for the moment slower but it works :D
Thanks
Tim

Versions look OK to me.

Check in SIOC/IOCPConsole:

Var 2552, name bVNAV, static, Link IOCARD_SW, Device 15, Input 30, Type I

Var 1385, name aCDU1_OFST, static, Link IOCARD_OUT, Device 13, Output 0

First check the VNAV in the virtual screen when VNAV can be set

then

Then set VNAV on MCP. Var 2552 should then go to 1, another psuh should have it set to 0

ALso chack the OFST var to see how it reacts

Ok got it working, I didn't really get the reaction i expected in the sioc console so i decided to start again I re downloaded both the sioc 5.1b2 & oc4bav4.4 and first removed some left over folders I found in the sioc folder including ssetup_files i have no idea why they were there ! so the only thing in the sioc folder now is your oc4bav4v4.4 and sioc 5.1
I only have one script in the config now ocp4ngx_v4.5.ssi
all seems to be ok now, vnav works and the fmc exec led and message offset is working as it should . I did a good flight test trying every combination I could think of & it didn't miss a beat.

The only weird thing is when i start the exe the mcp lights up then goes off then comes back on again :o its always fine after that maybe that's normal :D

Thank thank you very much for the help

Tim

Glad you got it working for you.

The MCP restart you have is something I also have. Not sure what is is. I haven't looked into it as I think it it not that important.

When I make next update of the driver, I will look into it.
