Hi everyone, i want to make a 737 homecockpit but i don't understand one thing, in the site i read that need to change inputs/outputs number with mip , overhead servos, fire panel p&p because the scripts got a different inputs /outputs than the standard opencockpit built. How to know correct inputs / outputs number?
where I find the correct inputs / outputs numbers? Thanks

Re: New user help
What type of Opencockpits modules do you have?
If you have the OC build modules there is not necessary to change anything.
You need only to change the input/output numbers if you have built your of modules based on OC's IOCARDS, like MASTER CARDS etc.
If you have done that you have probably wired up the input/outputs to other connections than the OC build modules.
You can change input / output numbers in the script easly by using the OC4BAv4 / Script module. There are also videos of how to do this at www.flightsim4fun
That is way you need to change them in the script so the script fits your hardware build.

Re: New user help
i know that but i read this :*This script has some different input/output numbers than the standard Opencockpit built modules in the
OVH-FWD Servos, MIP and FIREPANEL script code. User must modify to match own built modules or Opencokpit build modules; and
It made me confused, so if i got mip , overhead p&p I do not have to change anything?

Re: New user help
From the MUST READ file:
OCP4NGX_PP_v4.0.ssi (Contains code for the standard P&P USB modules: MCP, EFISs, CDUs, COMs, NAVs, ADF and ATC)
OCP4NGX_PP_MIP_v4.0.ssi (Contains code for the Dual Trainer MIP incl MCP, EFIS, CDUs, + PP USB modules COMs, NAVs, ADF and ATC
OCP4NGX_v4.0.ssi * (Contains code for the standard P&P USB modules: OVH -FWD, MIP, Fire Panel, MCP, EFISs, CDUs, COMs, NAVs, ADF and ATC)
OCP4NGX_v4.0_OC.ssi ** (Contains code for OVH-FWD, OVH-AFT, PEDESTALwFIRE PANEL, Dual Trainer MIP incl MCP, EFIS, CDUs)
* This script has some different input/output numbers than the standard Opencockpit built modules in the
OVH-FWD Servos, MIP and FP code. User must modify to match own built modules or Opencokpit build modules.
** OVH_AFT script part has not all functions implemented in this version.
The OCP4NGX_v4.0.ssi as stated above uses another numbering plan than the OC built modules in the
OVH-FWD Servos, MIP and FP code. It is the numbering plan I use in my cockpit setup as I have a OVH-FWD with some different wiring connections to the Servo than other OVH-FWD panels
built by Opencockpits. OCs wiring scheme has not always been the same. The Numbering for the MIP and FIREPANEL in this script is also based on my hardware that is build up by IOCARDS.
If you get the MIP and OVH P&P modules you go with the OCP4NGX_v4.0_OC.ssi script and it should work without any modification.

Re: New user help
thank you so much I hope everything will be fine
Re: New user help
It will work fine, if done right. If you get problems, just tell it here in this forum and support will be given.
Re: New user help
Thank for the answer , i will make my home cockpit in this way: mcp , 1 efis , 1 cdu , overhead , 1 com radio , 1 adf , 1 nav radio , 1 atc all p&p , mip card with all mip panels and pedestal card to conect fire engines panel and cargo fire panel ; so can i use OCP4NGX_v4.0_OC.ssi ? In this way i 'll got some hardware p&p and some hardware no p&p. which script should i use ?
Re: New user help
You can use OCP4NGX_v4.0_OC.ssi, but as you seems to go for COM, NAV etc as P&P and not IDC with PEDESTAL Card you have to change some number . That all, very easy.
ASk in this forum later when you need som guiding on how to to it, or search around here in other topics.
You should also have a least 2 NAVs in order to have a working ILS setup. That is also needed in the real aircraft.

Re: New user help
Hi I don't understand this : " Users with a mix of P&P USB modules and the new IDC panel connecting modules must merge parts of the above script
(after exporting the scripts to text files) and do a new script compile to have a new script "
what it means merege parts of the script. what should I do? in OCP4NGX_v4.0_OC.ssi are not present codes of mip card and pedestal card ?
