Hi,
Is there anyone out there who would like to use their Opencockpits hardware with the new XPLANE 11's B737 ?
Just wanted to check before I make a decision to start developing a driver for it.
B737 in XPLANE11 with Opencockpits hardware
Re: B737 in XPLANE11 with Opencockpits hardware
Hello, for me I hesitate for the switch to XP11, I expect the project of a new simulator that DOVETAIL is to leave early 2017 in the extension of FLIGHT School in 64 bit.
And then the simulator switching is more expensive than a first purchase because we already have the software, that at a cost I calculated approximately:
70 euros for XP11
75 euros for the plane XIEG737
40 euros for a weather engine Skymaxx V3 pro
Your software 40 euros
Xuipc is free
The Virtual Avoinics CDU is not yet compatible.
Ie 225 euros plus the CDU.
For a first installation no problem you can create an XP11 interface to the XIEG737.
Greetings.
Dominique.

That would be great, The aircraft of choice would be the IXEG 737. I haven't tried x-plane 11 yet, still running 10.51. I'm not sure how the default 737 in x-plane compares to IXEG's 737. I'm tempted to try the beta, but prefer waiting until it gets released from beta.
Thanks,
George
Re: B737 in XPLANE11 with Opencockpits hardware
Could somone PM me the Documentation folder of the IXEG B737-300, so I can check if it is possible to make an OpenCockpits interface for it.
I do not want to buy it and find out it is not possible due to lack of SDK/DataRefs/Commands.
The first one that provides me with the doc will get the interface app free, if I make it.

The new OC4BA_XP app that let you use your Opencockpit modules when flying in X-Plane is now ready.
You can fly the IXEG 737-300, X-Plane's new default B737-800 or the x737 project. All airplanes are available for Opencockpit control.
Will be ready to be purchase for only 29 Euro later this evening .. Sorry, release not until first week in 2017.
First version v.1.0 includes MCP. Other modules will become available soon.

OC4BA_XP for IXEG B737-300 in X-Plane is now released
Re: B737 in XPLANE11 with Opencockpits hardware
OC4BA_XPv1.0 has now been released and reports from users are that it works fine , but only has support for the Opencockpits MCPv2\v3 module.
But, this week will see the release of OC4BA_XPv1.1 (if everything goes after the plan)
that will also have support for the following Opencockpits modules:
EFIS1, COM1, NAV1, ADF1 and ATC.
EFIS2, COM2, NAV2 will come with release v1.2(if they do not make it for v1.1 release)
CDU1, CDU2 are planned in release v1.3, but here there are some code challenges to support the CDU screen displays as they
can not be undocked as in FSX/P3D.
