Need help

Hi all,
Have a problem with OC4BA menu running in addons in P3Dv3 and PMDG B737. As I load the banner of OC4BAv3 appears. So far so good. If I click on the addons OC4BA appears but if I click on it nothing seems to happen. But I found out, that if I look in the Task Manager, OC4BA menu is running in the backgroud instead of running as App.
As far as I know I followed instructions correctly, but now I have to enter TaskManager every time to shut down the menu first before activating it in SIOC folder.
Please advise,
Pieter

Hi,
I will guess that this problem is related to an issue in your Windows rather than any issues with OC4BA v3.
Did you install OC4BA? with your Virus scanner disabled?
What is your OS? DO you have the right VS C++ redist and .NetFramwork
Can you tell me which versions of the OC4BA v3 programs you have. Hoover over the programs in SIOC folder and you will see the version numbers.
Are you running the latest PMDG SP1D version? Are you running the latest SIOC 5.1 version?

Hi mvr1918,
I'll try to answer all your questions in the right order. Antivirus (Avast) was off.
My OS is Windows 10. Yes. I did run all the installers in redist. And I do have installed .NetFramework 4.+
My version of OC4BAv3 is 3.6.0.0
Yes I have SP 1d of PMDG B737-8/900 installed. And I have the latest verion of SIOC 5.1
Please advise
Pieter

It is hard for me to say what is your problem as it is probably an issue with your local setup of OS.
There are a lot of info for this type of issue. Try to Google and see if you find anything.
Do you have you FSX installed to c:\Program Files(86)? If yes, this could be it. Avoid this folder for FSX as it can causes many different issues.

Hi mvr1918,
No I do not have FSX installed at all. Ok, now could you please tell me how I get OC4BA menu OUT of modules? I tried to find it but it does noet show up in the main root of P3Dv3.0 modules.
Thanks in advance
Pieter

ugh... see now from opening post that use P3D v3.
what you mean about get OC4BAv3 menu out of modules?
if you mean add-on menu, you will find it
in the user/nn/appdata/roaming/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3D v3/exe.xml
delete the OC4BA menu addon

Pity you couldn't get rid of your problem. But, you will have all features intact when you run O4BA v3 from your SIOC folder.
