User with Opencockpits P&P modules only
1. After running the OC4BAConfig and making up your configuration files based on your attached P&P modules.
Compare 737sioc.ini and sioc.ini in the SIOC folder with this
[SIOC]
IOCP_port=8092
IOCP_timeout=4000
Minimized=Yes
toggle_delay=20
[IOCARDS MODULE]
IOCard_disable=No
IOCard_LPT=No
[FSUIPC MODULE]
FSUipcdisable=No
FSUipcRefresh=60
[IOCP CLIENTS MODULES]
IOCPini_delay= 3000
IOCPclient0_disable=no
IOCPclient0_host=localhost
IOCPclient0_port=8099
IOCPclient1_disable=yes
IOCPclient1_host=localhost
IOCPclient1_port=8092
[SOUND MODULE]
Sound_disable=Yes
Volume=100
[*]
CONFIG_FILE=OCP4NGX_v1.2.ssi
MASTER=7,7,1,80
MASTER=8,8,1,90
MASTER=15,15,1,78
MASTER=10,10,1,82
MASTER=9,9,1,94
MASTER=11,11,1,92
MASTER=16,16,1,96
MASTER=13,13,1,102
-------
You should only have a MASTER definition line for those P&P devices you have
The example above has the following modules:
CPT_EFIS
COM1
MCPV3
ADF_1
NAV_1
ATC
CHRONO_CPT
CPT_CDU
If you have a MCPv2 the MASTER line for the MCP should read
MASTER=15,5,1,78
the 15,5 indicates that you have a MCPv2 and not a MCPv3
The last number of each MASTER line is unique and will be different on your PC
Check the numbers with the numbers you see in the Device window in SIOC.exe
Also check that you have the latest driver and script for P&P modules:
OCP4NGX.exe ( version 3.4) in SIOC folder
OCP4NGX_PP_v2.0.ssi (Contains code for the standard P&P USB modules: MCP, EFISs, CDUs, COMs, NAVs, ADF and ATC)
Try to run OCP4NGX.exe directly from your SIOC folder after you have started up FSX and selected your B737
If some of the buttons or leds/displays do not function correctly go to SIOC and open the IOCPConsole. Turn on LOG ON.
Test the buttons and leds/displays and check the log.
Copy the log and send this info an d tell what is not working OK when sending in problems.
