Failing ocp4ngx during flight
Posted: Mon Aug 11, 2014 2:25 pm
Hi Roark,
Bought the OC4BA v2 software but i get some strange issues. Don't know exactly when it started to occure, but i suspect it was after an install of REX. I removed REX again but that didnt solve it.
What is happening.
After starting a flight, it happens that ocp4ngx stops out of the blue during the flight. When i pause the flight and go back to the windowed mode with ALT+ENTER i can restart OCP4NGX by clicking on the image of the b737 and then the cockpit, and hereafter clicking on the c/o button of the mcp i can continue with the flight.
Trying to solve the error, i looked in the windows event viewer and it appeares that the problem is caused by microsoft visual c++ module MSVCR100.dll. So i uninstalled it and reinstalled a newer one.
These actions did not solve the problem so this morning i did a testflight and i try to give you as much as information as possible.
I am running WIN7 X64, Intel I7 2600K 3,4Ghz, 16Gb ram, Nvidia GTX650, FSX with SP2
PMDG 737NGX and OC4BAv2 with ocp4ngx_v2.2.ssi script because i don't have the overhead.
Test;
- The flight is from Eindhoven to Stornoway (EHEHEGPO)
- after 5 minutes, still in the SID i am losing my opencockpit devices (MCP,EFIS,COM,NAV and ADF) because OCP4NGX.exe has stopped.
- Pause flight and restart OCP4NGX and after that i continue with the flight.
- I can continue this flight and the the error doesn't happen again.
- After landing and stopping FSX i am going to check the event viewer.
