Anyone with Cockpitforyou TQ v2 sioc and Oi4Fs?

Good morning everyone, I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules with this post. If so, I apologize and plase kindly delete it.
I am a happy owner of the 0i4FS system that I use for the PMDG 737 and also MD80.. (autopilot, gauges, Efis.. other..).

I now find myself with an old motorized TQ cockpit for you V2 (for a long time now...). Version that uses opencockpit cards for the DC Motors.
I'm wondering if someone has connected it with MSF2020 + Oi4FS and would share the script (even for a fee).

Otherwise I'll kindly ask if someone would try to develop a script for me (obviously paid, not free), used for have the TQ full working with all the motorized stuff (throlle levers, flap, parking brake, trim....)

I already have the sioc script for FSX and PMDG, and I hope it could be a good start for implement it.

Long time ago I already asked to Mr. Roar to develop something but he kindly replied that he rightly doesn't have time for these individual requests.

I tried to do something myself but I'm really hopeless with code developments.

I have therefore used the TQ as non-motorized for a long time but honestly I really like not being able to use it 100%.

Thank you for reading my post

Please PM me if interestet

Kind regards,

Antonio

There is a topic at the PMDG.com forum covering this, maybe it can help:

Thank you for your prompt answer.
Yep, I already read this thread but it is related to a different topic.

The "new" Cockpit for you from version V3 use a different elettronic board and their own software. So, no Sioc and no opencockpit boards anymore.

The CFY V1 and V2 (what I have) are very old and they are using opencockpit dc motors board with Sioc.

I also wrote to cockpitforyou direclty but the product is no longer supported. So, this is my last hope. After that I will sell it to someone that is able to play with Sioc.

Thank you!

Hi Antonio,

You can try to contact Alpinflier (Urs) by PM. I think he has a v2 working in MS2020. He’s also active on PMDG forum and has a nice video on youtube.

Hi Antonio

I saw your request just now. Let me answer in the open forum, so probably others with similar problems can also profit from this discussion.

Yes, I have written SIOC code for my motorised CFY throttle stand. But first I should know, how familiar you are with SIOC. I can give you the code for the motors, but you should be able to add it to your own script for the rest of your cockpit, adjust addresses of boards and commands and compile it finally to a .ssi file. Let me know your intentions and skills, perhaps also more about your cockpit HW. Then we can go on.

Best regards
Urs

Hi Alpin-flier,

really appreciated your answer!! :D

to be honest i'm a bit rusty on sioc... i worked on it quite a bit in the past when i had fsx and i made an ovh using opencockpit cards for annunciators and servos... so i need to get back to it for a moment.
Now i'll make you laugh... i'm an electronics engineer and i work in the computer science field.. but i've never been very good at software development... that's why i do something completely different in computer science

But i think i have a good foundation to start this project :-)

I'll send to you pictures and additonal info later!

Really thank you!!!
