If you have the PMDG 777 driver and have at least both a MCP and EFIS and would like to test the new beta driver and script, send a request to roarkrsp@gmail.com. The new driver and script version will be released and sent to all users as soon as I can feedback from beta testers.
If no beta test shows up, this release will have to wait for 3 weeks as I am out traveling and not have access to my hardware modules for testing.
What has been fixed and should be tested are:
Power up of MCP, COMs and ATC is now more in sync with the virtual modules in all electrical states.
EFIS Baro and Mins knobs now work using LVars setting via simconnect( still waiting for PMDG to fix, but it should work with my special fix)
Updating of pop out screens now work when view is set to external ( Fixed by PMDG)

Re: PMDG 777 - new beta driver and script to test
Anyone with the Opencockpits FMC module here?
As I have no FMC module here I am writing this new code,
I need one to test and verify the CLR function(long and short presses of the CLR button).
When this is tested and verified, I will release the updated driver and script.
It will have these improvements:
MINS and BARO rotaries are fixed and working.
Power states of MCP, COMs and ATC are fixed and working.
FMC/CDU CLR button fixed and working with both short and long presses.
AUDIOs have MIC selection implemented.

Re: PMDG 777 - new beta driver and script to test
Hi Roar,
I have the EFIS, MCP and FMC v3.
The MINS and BARO rotaries work now but when I turn clockwise the values decrease and when I turn counterclockwise the values increase.
Is this perhaps in the script or something else?
Furthermore the long and short press on the FMC works fine.
If you have anything else to test, let me know and I will see what I can do for you.
Regards,
Kees Aarts

MINS and BARO fixed in new updated script. Just download and unzip to Oi4Fs again using the download link you got in the email when you bought the driver. Noting else needs to be done.
Fine if someone respond here if everything is OK.

Baro and Mins work ok , but Mins turn the numbers very slow.
Any way to fix it the way they works for 737?

re: MINS and BARO
from the doc:
IMPORTANT!!!
MINS and BARO rotaries increase / decrease in 1-unit steps with a knob turn.
If FPV is set, the MINS and BARO increase / decrease in auto high speed (10-unit
steps) with a rotary turn until a new rotary turn is done.
This is the way it now works until PMDG fix the MINS and BARO events that are not working correctly via the SDK at the moment.

Re: PMDG 777 - new beta driver and script to test
Hi Roar,
Not an important issue but I decided to inform you. In my setup with a FMCv3, the long press on the CLR reaction doesn't work as expected. There is no difference in a short or a long press: both will delete one character in the scratchpad. Because Kees Aarts mentioned in his message (above) that for him it is working well, do you have any idea where I have to look to solve this?

Hans

Re: PMDG 777 - new beta driver and script to test
Hello @mvr1918
I am struggling a little bit now. I tried using my original download link again however I seem to be going backwards. Now EFIS Baro is not working again?
Can you please confirm which script I should be using?
I have EFIS L, EFIS R, MCP, Com1, ATC and NAV1 modules. No FMC or CDU.
Can you also please verify if I should be using the original link or the V 1.1 link which was working prior to updating this morning just moving the knobs in the right direction?
Under Scripts I see:
V1.0.ssi
V1.0 FMCV2
V1.2.ssi
V1.2_CDU
V1.2_FMC
Is this correct? Should I be using V1.0 or V1.2?
Thank you!
