Oi4FS/OCP4NGXu SIOC failure(SOLVED)
Oi4FS/OCP4NGXu SIOC failure(SOLVED)
I have an MCP v3, could not get Oi4FS/OCP4NGXu to work yet, I'm getting Error#4 : Connect to SIOC failure : #10053
First of all, OC4BAv5/OCP4NGXu is working correctly in P3Dv5.
Steps taken :
Oi4FS installed in SIOC folder, Bridge folder copied to MSFS community folder.
Three SDK lines (EnableBrodcast ....) copied to 737Options.ini
Oi4FS Configure done, same as in OC4BAv5
737 loaded in MSFS
OCP4NGXu.exe started (from OC4BAv5)
Oi4FS started, NGXu selected and clicked "Fly". Results in above mentioned error message.
Any idea what I am doing wrong ?
Mike

Re: Oi4FS/OCP4NGXu SIOC failure
The correct things to do is as follows:
1. SIOC v7 should be installed
2. Oi4FS installed to SIOC folder
3 Add SDK info re Enabling databroadcast in the 737Options.ini file PMDG 737 for MSFS's work folder
( see path info viewtopic.php?t=1038 )
!! IMPORTANT make sure you have the SDK info after the last line without any empy lines and verify that the SDK lines is in the file after you have started up the PMDG 737 in MSFS as it can clip away the last lines when starting.
4. Make a ONETIME configuration using the PMDG B737 airplane ( not the MS B737 )
5. Start MSFS with an 737 airplane
6. Make sure the NGXu is marked in OI4FS and that Oi4FS(p3d)Starter label is green and click the B737 image
A new updated Oi4FS v2.1 is sent out to all users today. This has some changes so you also can use the Oi4FS(p3D)Starter autoStart function.

Re: Oi4FS/OCP4NGXu SIOC failure
Hm, no luck yet. No SIOC error anymore, but the MCPv3 remains dead silent.
I double checked the SDK block is still in 737options.ini as last block with no extra line after it.
two screenshots attached.

The Configuration image shows me that you have not done a proper configuration. Read how to make a configuration by hoovering over Help label as seen in attached image. You have not linked the detected MCP to a MCP panel. What is the other device you have?

Hi Roar,
its not working with me at all.
Everytime I click the PMDG B737 picture... SIOC is starting... but afterwards Oi4FS is shutting down (CTD) without error message.
Please check my setup. Oh well... the Bridge is also updated in Community folder.

Yeah, sorry, that link to an MCP panel just slipped through for the screenshot, I had done it before.mvr1918 wrote: ↑Thu May 12, 2022 1:06 pm The Configuration image shows me that you have not done a proper configuration. The problem apparently was caused by my second device, an EFISv2 with currently a power supply problem. After disconnecting it completely the MCP worked !
So thanks, problem on my end and solved !

Hi Roar,
just check my post 5 posts above... the last picture/attachment here.
My Oi4FS is CTD each time when selecting the 737 picture.
