Then this should also work OK:
Start SIOC.exe ( with the OCP4NGX_EFIS1.ssi in Sioc.ini)
Go to IOCPConsole within SIOC main window
Turn on LOG ON
Test that all buttons work by checking the LOG window.

HI,
Either you are not doing this correctly or you have some issues with your SIOC installation.
This should work and has nothing to do with OCP4NGX as this is not running.
This is a pure SIOC, EFIS and script test.
What is your sioc.ini and the look of SIOC.exe main window + the IOCPConsole window. Please send the images off these window screens

Hi,
You do not use the special script OCP4NGX_EFIS1.ssi as told in the SIOC.ini.
Go to OC4BAConfig and configure SIOC.ini so it reads like this in the last 2 lines after you have are done.
CONFIG_FILE=OCP4NGX_EFIS1.ssi
MASTER=7,7,1,15
The start SIOC.exe
You should now see that SIOC starts up with the OCP4NGX_EFIS1.ssi
Start IOCPConsole.
If IOCPConsole is not connected ( status: DISCONNECTED) to SIOC server click Connect and the LOG ON
Now test some buttons on EFIS and check in LOG window of IOCPConsole that it looks OK
If this test works OK then start OCP4NGX.exe( the 2.4.8 version). Does it crash?
If yes, there is a local issue on your PC. Try installing the latest USB drivers for your motherboard and make sure you do not have any antivirus of firewall program that prevent OCP4NGX to run.
If it stays open close OCP4NGX and SIOC and start FSX and then OC4BA from Addon Meny and start OCP4NGX via OC4BA

ok have done what you asked but I cant get the IOCP Console to connect. I have set my PC to a static IP which is 192.168.0.20 not sure if that makes a difference? do I need to download the IOCP server or is it built in to SIOC?

IOCPConsole is part of the Sioc installation
I recommend you to do a new Sioc installation
The static Ip could be the reason if it doesn't get any better after a new Sioc installation
It seems to me that both IOCPConsole and OCP4NGX encounter the same problems. Something is wrong in your PC Ip setup

ok so after some messing around I have dicovered that the IOCP Console will connect and show it is working in the LOG but only through the OC Autoconfig IOCP Console which shows it up as IDX 11, then when I go back to OC4BA it can not connect or do anything. this is driving me crazy now.

I think it is just the IOCP server that it can not connect to but how do i find out which other program might be blocking it?
