OC4BAv3 now in P3Dv5

Post by mvr1918 »

OC4BAv3 is now official supported by me in the Prepar3Dv5.

Both the B737 NGX and B777X are supported. Soon , I hope, also the B747V2.

As there are many updated SDK variables for the NGX (Doors annunciators, Electrical status display ++) an update of the OCP4NGX driver and script will soon be released.

Users are welcomed to send in any issues/problems when testing OC4BA in P3D.

Those findings will be part of the updated software.

No need to change anything related to drivers and script if everything is working OK with FSX. For P3D the driver and script should continue to be located in the SIOC folder.

If you want the OC4BA to appear in the FSX Addon-menu you need to do par. 9 and 10 below, if not just skip these instructions.
You can always start up OC4BA directly from the SIOC folder.

9)
If exe.xml does not exists in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX or in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D V2
Copy exe.xml from SIOC folder to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX or C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D V2
!!<username> in path above must be changed to your username!!

10)
If an exe.xml file already exists for other addons in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX or in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D V2 :
Paste the text:
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>OC4BA</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path>\SIOC\OC4BA_Menu.exe</Path></Launch.Addon>

into exe.xml above the last line in the file. The last line in the file should be: </SimBase.Document>
NB. Be sure to save the file as exe.xml and NOT exe.xml.txt!!!

!! If you have any problems with OC4BA v3 doesn't show up in the Add-ons meny in FSX/P3D, edit the exe.xml
file so that it points to the full OC4BA_Menu path!!
