MCP and EFIS Problems

Post by smleingang »

Postby smleingang » Sat Jan 10, 2015 6:58 pm

I have MCP/EFIS issues too...running OC4BA v3...when in FSX and select PMDG NGX then launch OC4BA from Add-Ons...OC4BAv3 launches and I select the 737NGXaircraft, go into cockpit then OCP4NGX kicks in and then nothing...MCP digits all dark...mcp and efis do not respond...also, I get an error message if I click on Help Menu in OC4BA...says unhandled exception, etc...

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

please help

Thanks!

Do you have Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 installed?

If yes, and you still have issues, send me an image of your SIOC folder and your sion.ini file

Hi,

Your 737sioc.ini and sioc.ini both looks OK.

But, you didn't send me the image of your SIOC folder.

If you try to start OCP4NGX directly from the SIOC folder, does it work OK then?

What is the OCP4NGX driver version you are running?

If you have a Dropbox or ONEDRIVE account you can make a ZIP file of your SIOC folder and copy it over to one of these accounts and send me your link to it.

I have found a bug that crash when the HELP icon is clicked in OC4BA.exe

Until a new OC4BA.exe is released you can just rename the OC4BA V3 Documentation.pdf to OC4BAv2 Documantation.pdf in the SIOC folder. Then it should work.

Try also to run the OCP4NGX.248.exe to see if that works OK

Have you:

PMDG B737NGX with SP1c installed and enabled the data communication output from the PMDG aircraft,
by opening the file 737NGX_Options.ini that is located in <FSX main folder>\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX.
and have added the following two lines to the bottom of the file:
[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1

Yes I did that.
I don't want to "hijack" this topic so I will start a new one describing my problem. :D
