OCP4BA V3 and Opencockpits MCP/ PMDG 737NGX issue

Post by drago6037 »

I have OCP4BA V3 and OpenCockpits MCP v2 installed in FSX. The issue I am having is the Knobs on the MCP are not matching the fucntions on the PMDG 737 NGX. When I turn the heading knob the autopilot disengage switch moves and when I turn the altitude knob on the MCP the course display changes values in the 737. Also when I turn the altitude knob on the MCP the course readout on the PMDG 737 changes. When I go to the info tab on the OCP4BA screen there is no green check mark on the MCP and when i go to configuration for detected hardware it say EXP/MASTER -86. I am using the OCP4NGX_PPv1.2.ssi. Am I missing a step? Someone please help as this is frustrating. Also the path to my SIOC folder is C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\SIOC. :(

Hi,

Tell me the OCP4NGX.exe version number you are using? Right click OCP4NGX.exe in SIOC folder and see under detail to find version number.

Send the text of you sioc.ini file.

There seems to be some issue with your setup that must be corrected.

I do not know how you have managed to get the line
MASTER=15,4,1,86
Did you run OC4BAConfig?

Anyway. You can just edit your sioc.ini in the SIOC folder to

MASTER=15,5,1,86

Tell me if you succeeded, so we can close this thread

Ok changed the lines in the sioc.ini to MASTER=15,5,1,86. Once I click on the cockpit picture in the OC4BA config and go into flightsim the readouts on the MCP illuminate just like before but the functions still don't match. When I recheck the sioc.ini file it has changed the value back to MASTER=15,4,1,86 :(

Hallo,
I am new in this Forum and I have a Problem like the above issue.
I have a Opencockpit MCP V3 and a PMDG 737NGX with FSX. I installed the Hardware and
installed the Software like the instructions on the download. The MCP works only in one direction -
when I changed the heading in the FS the digits changed on the MCP in the same way. But when I changed the heading on the MCP there is no change in the FS!!!
On the other hand the knobs will work in both directions - f.e. F/D on/off or A/T ARM or V/S or ALT HLD or CMD A and so on.

Can anybody help me?
I am glad to hear you!

Yours - Peter

Hi,

Do the other rotaries work OK, IAS, ALT VS and CRSs?

No, all digits work only when I change them in the FSX - then they will change on the MCP. But when I turn the digits (Speed, heading, altitude, V/S, course) on the right number, there is no reaction in the FSX.

Do you know why?

Many thanks - Peter

Question:En ce qui concerne mon computer:

Windows7 édition familiale service pack1 64 Bits

Processeur Intel cor 4 coeurs

Merci.
