Hello,
i have a MCP v3 this works with the OC4BA v2 all digits light on no problems with push the buttons.
That not works with FSX PMDG 737NGX autopilot with all Sioc Sript.
only EFIS v2 works with all SIOC scripts
Configuration:
D: FSX
D: Sioc
D: Sioc\OC4BA v2
Software:
SIOC 5.0B5
OCP4BA v2
which do sioc sript I need?
OCP4NGX_PP v.1.0
OCP4NGX_v2.2
OCP4NGX_v2.7b
OCP4NGX_v2.7e
OCP4NGX_v2.8b
Hardware:
WIN 7
only have
MCP v3 Master
EFIS v2
not other Modules
CONFIG_FILE=OCP4NGX_XXXXX.ssi
MASTER=7,7,1,69
MASTER=15,15,1,54
who can help ?
Thank you
MCP v3 with SIOC (SOLVED)
Re: MCP v3 with SIOC
Use the OCP4NGX_PP v.1.0 as you only havewhich do sioc sript I need?
OCP4NGX_PP v.1.0
OCP4NGX_v2.2
OCP4NGX_v2.7b
OCP4NGX_v2.7e
OCP4NGX_v2.8b
MCP v3 Master
EFIS v2
Your sioc.ini after running OC4BAConfig should look like this
CONFIG_FILE=D:\SIOC\OCP4NGX_PP_V1.0.ssi
MASTER=7,7,1,69
MASTER=15,15,1,54
MAKE SURE THAT ALL OC4BA v2 files are diectly in SIOC FOLDER.

Re: MCP v3 with SIOC
There should not be any OC4BA v2 folder under
The SIOC folder.
The SIOC folder.

Re: MCP v3 with SIOC
Hi,
You can always have a folder called OC4BA v2 under SIOC folder, but the important thing is to have the OC4BA v2 files directly in the SIOC folder.
The OC4BA v2 files are those that are installed by the OC4BA v2 installer.
Why do you need the OC4BA v2 folder under SIOC?
Yes, to the last alternative

Re: MCP v3 with SIOC
OCP4NGX_PP v.1.0
OCP4NGX_v2.2
OCP4NGX_v2.7b
OCP4NGX_v2.7e
OCP4NGX_v2.8b
1. CONFIG_FILE=ocp4ngx_v2.8.ssi
MASTER=7,7,1,69
MASTER=15,15,1,54
2. CONFIG_FILE=D:\ocp4ngx_v2.8.ssi
MASTER=7,7,1,69
MASTER=15,15,1,54
3. CONFIG_FILE=D:\SIOC\ocp4ngx_v2.8.ssi
MASTER=7,7,1,69
MASTER=15,15,1,54

Re: MCP v3 with SIOC
As I have stated before and has written as a Recommendation on the How to Download pagebei der Configuration der einzelnen Scripte durch die Software habe ich auch sämtliche Varianten durch.
OCP4NGX_PP v.1.0
OCP4NGX_v2.2
OCP4NGX_v2.7b
OCP4NGX_v2.7e
OCP4NGX_v2.8b
1. CONFIG_FILE=ocp4ngx_v2.8.ssi
MASTER=7,7,1,69
MASTER=15,15,1,54
2. CONFIG_FILE=D:\ocp4ngx_v2.8.ssi
MASTER=7,7,1,69
MASTER=15,15,1,54
3. CONFIG_FILE=D:\SIOC\ocp4ngx_v2.8.ssi
MASTER=7,7,1,69
MASTER=15,15,1,54
YOU SHOULD USE OCP4NGX_PP_V1.0.ssi
Then your sioc.ini should look like this after you have configured it correctly:
[SIOC]
IOCP_port=8092
IOCP_timeout=4000
Minimized=Yes
toggle_delay=20
[IOCARDS MODULE]
IOCard_disable=No
IOCard_LPT=No
[FSUIPC MODULE]
FSUipcdisable=No
FSUipcRefresh=60
[IOCP CLIENTS MODULES]
IOCPini_delay=3000
IOCPclient0_disable=no
IOCPclient0_host=localhost
IOCPclient0_port=8099
IOCPclient1_disable=yes
IOCPclient1_host=localhost
IOCPclient1_port=8092
[SOUND MODULE]
Sound_disable=Yes
Volume=100
[*]
CONFIG_FILE=OCP4NGX_PP_V1.0.ssi
MASTER=7,7,1,69
MASTER=15,15,1,54
You don't need other scripts with your hardware modules.
So, if you have all OC4BA v2 files including the script file in SIOC folder, your configuration is OK
How to get the MCP to work when flying?
Make sure you have
enabled the data communication output from the PMDG aircraft,
by opening the file 737NGX_Options.ini that is located in <FSX main folder>\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX.
and have added the following two lines to the bottom of the file:
[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1
1)Start FSX, select PMDG NGX
2) Select OC4BA v2 from FSX Add-ons Menu
3) Select B737 and click cockpit window
now OCP4NGX starts up
Push CO on the Opencockpits MCP and the CRS,IAS,HDG etc should light up
and you are ready to fly
Also read the MUST READ document again, if you do what is stated there, it will run
The latest MUST READ is attached here at the bottom.
If it doesn't work for you now, I can help you with going into your PC with TeamViewer.
!!!!! IMPORTANT MUST READ !!!!!
Before installing OC4BA v2 , you must have :
1)
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (X86)
2)
SIOC 5.0B5 or later directly installed in a folder named SIOC located under the same parent folder as your FSX main folder. The FSX main folder is where the FSX.exe is located.
Example: If FSX.exe is in D:\Games\FlightSim\FSX then Sioc.exe should be in D:\Games\FlightSim\SIOC.
If this is not the case, uninstall SIOC and reinstall to correct location, otherwise OC4BA v2 will not run properly.
3)
FSX with SP2 or Acceleration installed to a standard folder (best to avoid C:\Program Files (x86))
4)
PMDG B737NGX with SP1c installed and enabled the data communication output from the PMDG aircraft,
by opening the file 737NGX_Options.ini that is located in <FSX main folder>\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX.
and have added the following two lines to the bottom of the file:
[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1
5)
PMDG 777X with SP1 installed and have enabled the data communication output from the PMDG aircraft,
by opening the file 777X_Options.ini that is located in <FSX main folder>\PMDG\PMDG 777X.
and have added the following two lines to the bottom of the file:
[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1
6)
When you have verified 1 - 5 above you can continue and unzip OC4BA v2 to any folder of choice.
7)
After you have read this "MUST READ OC4BAv2" several times and really understand what it is saying, you can continue and
run Setup.exe to install programs and files to SIOC folder
After Setup has been finished, you should now have the following programs and files located in your SIOC folder:
EULA.rtf
OC4BA.exe
OC4BAConfig.exe
OC4BA_Menu.exe
sioc.ini
737sioc.ini
777sioc.ini
747sioc.ini
OC4BA.ini
MUST READ OC4Bv2.txt
OC4BAv2 Documentation.pdf
exe.xml
OCP4NGX.bmp
OCP4777X.bmp
OCP4NGX.exe
8)
Script files for the drivers must be downloaded from http://www.flightsim4fun.com/how-to--downloads.html
There you will find the latest and most updated scripts for OC4BA v2.
Read Recommendations to find the script that matches best your hardware setup.
Unzip script files to SIOC folder. Without script files your driver will not work!
9)
If exe.xml does not exists in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX:
Copy exe.xml from SIOC folder to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX
!!<username> in path above must be changed to your username!!
10)
If an exe.xml file already exists for other addons in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX:
Paste the text:
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>OC4BA</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path>\SIOC\OC4BA_Menu.exe</Path></Launch.Addon>
into exe.xml above the last line in the file. The last line in the file should be: </SimBase.Document>
NB. Be sure to save the file as exe.xml and NOT exe.xml.txt!!!
!! If you have any problems with OC4BA v2 doesn't show up in the Add-ons meny in FSX, edit the exe.xml
file in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX so that it points to the full OC4BA_Menu path!!
If you have bought the OCP4777X driver for PMDG 777X continue with item 11
11)
Unzip the OCP4777X.zip to SIOC folder. Unzip also OCP4777X script files to SIOC folder
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When steps 1-11 are verified/done, your installation is OK
Configuration:
First time only and if you cahnge your hardware setup, in order to configure the software, sioc.ini and hardware:
Go to Addons meny in FSX and start OC4BA v2
in OC4BA v2, select the Config symbol in order to start OC4BAConfig
Go to Help and read the setup instructions or view the OC4BAConfig video file at http://www.flightsim4fun.com/how-to--downloads.html
Go through the configuration steps as described in the Help menu
Do it for both aircraft ( B737 and B777) if you ahve them both.
The configuration files are saved and youa re ready to fly.
Flying:
In OC4BA v2
select the B737 Aircraft and then B737 Cockpit if you have started the NGX in FSX
or
select B777 Aircraft and then B777 Cockpit if you have started the 777X in FSX
When you quit flying a aircraft in order to start up another aircraft, first go and click the
Cockpit window in OC4BA v2 to close the active driver.
INFO: If you prefer to run OC4BAConfig and make the configuration and sioc.ini without starting FSX, you can always run OC4BA programs directly from SIOC folder.
