Hello,
my Name is Alex, I´m 32 and live in Germany.
My English isn´t very good, sorry for that.
My System:
Win7 64bit
Intel i5 2500k
Geforce GTX 760
16GB RAM
I use the OC4BA v2 5814 and SIOC 5.05b
My problem is the crash of the OC4BA Driver.
After starting it crashs after a maximum of 2min. Even when using a knob or doing nothing.
After reloading it crashs more faster, sometimes directly after being loaded.
I removed SIOC, OC4BA and the PMDG737NGX and installed it again but nothing changed.
Here the text from the Event Display (allways the same)
Name der fehlerhaften Anwendung: OCP4NGX.exe, Version: 0.0.0.0, Zeitstempel: 0x537e16a5

Do you have any idea what´s the Problem?
Thanks
Alex
OC4BA v2 Crash
Re: OC4BA v2 Crash
Hi Alex,
This problem has been reported by some of the users and is a tricky one to resolve due to lack of good crash information.
What I can see of the inforamtion I get from you is that it is not OCP4NGX that crashes, but a MS dll that is used by OCP4NGX.
Most users , myself included don't have these crashes. I believe it has something to do with your specific PC setup.
What type of Opencockpits modules do you have connected to your flightsim?
Do you have the C++ redistributable 2010 installed?
Do you overclock your CPU?
Which other FSX type addons do you have installed?
Are you running any virus protection software on the drive/folders that OC4BA v2 is installed to?
I will send you a special OCP4NGX.exe that I want you to try. Just unzip it over the "old" one after taking a backup.
I need you feedback on the questions above before I sent the "new" OCP4NGX.
/Roar

Re: OC4BA v2 Crash
Hi,
I tried the special OC4NGX.exe and it works much better.
I did three flights and had only 1 Crash. This time OC4NGX.exe Crashs, not the MSVCR100.dll

Just so I know the a little bit more.
Did you install the MS C++ redist 2013?
Which ssi file was loaded? The latest pp_v1.0 or the 2.8b.ssi?

Re: OC4BA v2 Crash
Hi,
Yes, I have installed the MS C++ r.
I use the 2.8b.ssi, because I have build my Overhead + MCP with the Master and servo Card by myself.
