Some delay in Altitude MPC control

Post by Cmte. Pena »

Hi Roar,

I´m starting Oi4FS, I click on the CONFIGURE button, choose 1.Airplane (PMDG B737), choose 2.MFSF/P3D script filter (OCP4NGX v5.5), choose my module (MCPv2), choose the 4.Panels (MCP) and everything works fine, but I´m experiencing some delay when I turn the altitude knob in the MCP and the information in the airplane panel.

I have at the 737_Options the lines:

[Aircraft Config]
FixedConfig=
[Panel State]
StartupPanelState=
[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1
EnableDataBroadcast.0=1
EnableDataBroadcast.1=1

My MCP module is version 2.

What can be wrong?

It could be a PMDG issue. I have got the same report from another user. I will look into it when I am back in my office next week.

Is your MCP ALT display issue only a lag of displaying updated values or does the LVL CHG also turns ON-OFF when you rotate the ALT KNOB on the hardware MCP?

Have the same lag problem, while changing altitude, the LVL change is off...

After some investigation I found out the the ALT display lag is due to a change in the internal coding in the PMDG 737 for MSFS compared to the PMDG 737 airplane in P3D.

This problem means that it can only be fixed by making new special WASM module of modify the existing Oi4FS Bridge software(WASM) that reads another ALT variable in the PMDG 737 for MSFS.

I have tested this and can verify that the lag is gone with this fix.

I will send out the fix next week as I want to wait a little to see if there are other issues that needs to be fixed as well.
