Re: Oi4FS support
Hello Roar, quick I tried yesterday but nothing happened. Here is the steps I took:
1. SIOC 7 OK
2. Oi4FS all in SIOC folder
3. created the link to each hardware and checked that it generated a ini OK
4. started MSFS 2020, loaded a Cesna
5. Started Oi4Fs acording to structions, clicked on plane picuture
6. App closed itself and no SIOC running
7. No response in MSFS or also no LED upadtes on OC radios, atc, etc...
Did not have much time to explore more, will try again later.
Cheers, Luis CLEMENT

Re: Oi4FS support
Sorry, but something went wrong in the last compilation of Oi4FS.
On my development PC everything looked OK.
A new download link of Oi4FS has been sent to all customers.
Just unzip new downloaded Oi4FS.zip to your SIOC folder.

Re: Oi4FS support
Thank you, will test all again and let you know how things are looking. Just quick question I heard that there is no simconnect? Do we need to install it manually?mvr1918 wrote:Sorry, but something went wrong in the last compilation of Oi4FS.

Re: Oi4FS support
There is a simconnect.dll in the Oi4FS zip file. No need to do anything but unzip to get Oi4FS working.

Modules communicate to SIOC, no issues but loaded a plane ran the Oi4FS and clicked on plane image, get a green Ready on it but nothing, radio off, MCP nothing, etc...
See pictures attacheck Sioc running and sioc.ini loaded, have no idea what else to try???
I am here to test let me know or email me, Luis.

Re: Oi4FS support
It looks to me that you haven't configured the FS_MS Default correctly as there is no Oi4FS-MS DEFAULT.ssi line in FS_MS Default.ini that is copied over to SIOC.ini and loaded by SIOC before the driver is started.
The FS_MS Default.ini file must have a CONFIG_FILE line together with MASTER lines for your modules.
Here are the last lines of a correct configuration file with only a ATC module connected
[*]
[FS_MS Default]
CONFIG_FILE=Oi4FS-MS DEFAULT v1.0.ssi
MASTER=11,11,1,27
Try to make a new configuration.
It is clearly stated in the doc how to do this.

Sorry but still no go, here is what I done:
Overwritten all your files in my SIOC folder again to make sure was starting again from scratch;
Did a set-up/config again as described in the PDF and closed the app
This time the the FS_MS_Default was written with the line you mentioned above, see picture attached.
Started MSFS2020 selected a plane, Robin DR400 and when it was running ready to take off I started again the app
App ran I clicked on Fly and the GA plane picture and the app opens and closes
No SIOC started and no generation of a new SIOC.ini neither…
Let me know what other things you would like me to try? Cheers.

Re: Oi4FS support
Could you try the Cessna 172 w/Garmin G1000 system.
After you click the big GA airplane image in Oi4FS to start,
first SIOC.exe should start and run in the background
SIOC.ini should now hold your configuration
OiMS.exe start and run in the background
Try to start the OiMS by GA image click both before and after loading the airplane in MSFS
any difference?
There is a OiMS.log file in SIOC folder, delete it before starting Oi4FS and check it after you have tried to run the driver
What is the content?

Re: Oi4FS support
OK thanks, will try this eveneing and report back! I can try also to write the sioc.ini dircetly and run sioc 7 manually but I guess it will still miss your driver/dll?mvr1918 wrote:Could you try the Cessna 172 w/Garmin G1000 system.
