Hi all,
I'm on the verge of despair.
After my old system crahed (P3Dv3, PMDG737NGX,OCBAv4) i switched now to the followed new system
new HW and followe SW:
on C:
Win10 Pro
MS Visual C++ 2015 (x86)
MS Visual C++ 2015-2019 (x64)
.Net actual version
on F:/P3D
P3Dv4
PMDG737NGXu
on F:/SIOC
SIOC v7.03B2
OCBA v5 with OCP4NGXu
F:/P3D/PMDG/PMDG737NGXu/737NGXu_Options.ini
[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1
own build OVH,MIP, + P&P-Modules NAV, COM, ATC,EFIS
--> modify OCP4NGX_v5.1.ssi with my own OVH/MIP-vars
path in add-on in P3D to driver looks good
SIOC runs after start P3D, logs in SIOC looks good, all modules connectd to the right IDX.
All in-/ouputs from my panels will change her status in SIOC, IOCP console and SIOC Monitor
but no reaction in Simulator and also no answer to IOCP when i press some switch in P3D.
It seems that no connection between SIOC and P3D.
I have also all drivers deinstalled and new installed.
All software is installed under administration rights.
I am greatful for every tip.
Regards Uwe
OCBAv5 dosn't work[SOLVED]
Re: OCBAv5 dosn't work
You are not telling if you start OCP4NGXu automatically(with the OC4BAv5 starter(plugin) active) or manually via the PD3's Addons menu.
If the latter, make sure you have ticked and marked the NGXu and not the NGX before you click the 737 image to start everything(SIOC + OCP4NGXu)

Re: OCBAv5 dosn't work
SIOC runs automaitcally after P3D start with no error message. Where can icheck if the driver run? Is there a log-file?
But if i close Sioc after P3D start manually and try to start all manually with marked NGXu it crashed with "side by side"-Error.

Re: OCBAv5 dosn't work
if you had search "side by side" here in the forum you would probably find the solution to your problem
viewtopic.php?f=15&t=389&p=2099&hilit=Side+by+side#p2099
You should find OCP4NGX driver in the Task Bar if it is running or check the OC.log file in the SIOC folder.

Re: OCBAv5 dosn't work
Thank you very much for your fast help.
Navigate to the folder P3D'sredist/Interface/FSX-SP2-XPACK/retail/lib and start SimConnect.msi
was the solution for me, too. Now i see the Driver in the taskbar an also the OC.log is available.
I read that note, but I didn't refer to P3D (more to PMDG for FSX), sorry.
Maybe a further note in the manual is helpful for other users.
