drayton_k:

Did you run the NEW OC4BAv4/Config to initiate the QUALITYWINGS B787.ini?

It looks like SIOC is not picking up the correct SIOC.ini when it starts.

When the driver starts in P3Dv4 it copy the contents of the QUALITYWINGS B787.ini file to SIOC.ini and start SIOC. SIOC should then run the correct configuration.

Is this what is happening? Check SIOC.ini after it fails. What is its content?

[ fichero de configuracion para el SIOC ver. 6.0B2 ]
IOCP_port=8092
[*]
[QUALITYWINGS B787]
CONFIG_FILE=J:\Prepar3D v4\SIOC\OCP4787_v1.1.ssi
MASTER=15,5,1,51
MASTER=7,7,1,53
MASTER=8,8,1,89

What is the complete text in the following files:

QUALITYWINGS B787.ini
PMDG B737.ini

Looking again at the image you attached showing the SIOC screen shows me that SIOC is not initalizing the IOcards modules.

Also the text in the last black line in the SIOC screen is not correct, it should have been J:\Prepar3D v4\SIOC\OCP4787_v1.1.ssi.

Is the path correct?

Have you any idea why this is not initialising the script then? I don't get this problem when using the Boeing modules and using the old way of initialising them by clicking on the plane in OCBA. I have run the config as per normal and that changes the SIOC.ini for the 787.
The path is correct by the way.

QW INI file contains
[ fichero de configuracion para el SIOC ver. 6.0B2 ]
IOCP_port=8092
[*]
[QUALITYWINGS B787]
CONFIG_FILE=J:\Prepar3D v4\SIOC\OCP4787_v1.1.ssi
MASTER=15,5,1,51
MASTER=7,7,1,53
MASTER=8,8,1,89

PMDG 737 ini contains

[SIOC]
IOCP_port=8092
IOCP_timeout=4000
Minimized=Yes
toggle_delay=20
[IOCARDS MODULE]
IOCard_disable=No
IOCard_LPT=No
[FSUIPC MODULE]
FSUipcdisable=No
FSUipcRefresh=60
[IOCP CLIENTS MODULES]
IOCPini_delay=3000
IOCPclient0_disable=no
IOCPclient0_host=localhost
IOCPclient0_port=8099
IOCPclient1_disable=yes
IOCPclient1_host=localhost
IOCPclient1_port=8092
[SOUND MODULE]
Sound_disable=Yes
Volume=100
[*]
[PMDG B737]
CONFIG_FILE=OCP4NGX_v4.6_v2.ssi
MASTER=15,5,1,51
MASTER=7,7,1,53
MASTER=8,8,1,89

This text should be in the QUALITYWINGS B787.ini file

[SIOC]
IOCP_port=8092
IOCP_timeout=4000
Minimized=Yes
toggle_delay=20
[IOCARDS MODULE]
IOCard_disable=No
IOCard_LPT=No
[FSUIPC MODULE]
FSUipcdisable=No
FSUipcRefresh=60
[IOCP CLIENTS MODULES]
IOCPini_delay=3000
IOCPclient0_disable=no
IOCPclient0_host=localhost
IOCPclient0_port=8099
IOCPclient1_disable=yes
IOCPclient1_host=localhost
IOCPclient1_port=8092
[SOUND MODULE]
Sound_disable=Yes
Volume=100
[*]
[QUALITYWINGS B787]
CONFIG_FILE=J:\Prepar3D v4\SIOC\OCP4787_v1.1.ssi
MASTER=15,5,1,51
MASTER=7,7,1,53
MASTER=8,8,1,89

This should be written to the QUALITYWINGS B787.ini when you runned OC4BAv4/Config the first time.

Start OC4BAv4.exe from SIOC folder
Make a new clean SIOC.ini file via OC4BAv4/File menu
Make a new config for QW B787 as stated in doc
Now chceck bot SIOC.ini and QUALITYWINGS B787.ini that you ahve the text as above.

If not copy text to QUALITYWINGS B787.ini

Roar,
I have done exactly as you have said, this text gets sent to the QW.INI file, but still it doesnt work.

[ fichero de configuracion para el SIOC ver. 6.0B2 ]
IOCP_port=8092
[*]
[QUALITYWINGS B787]
CONFIG_FILE=J:\Prepar3D v4\SIOC\OCP4787_v1.1.ssi
MASTER=15,5,1,51
MASTER=7,7,1,53
MASTER=8,8,1,89

The SIOC.INI contains the same text as above..

Something is very strange here.

Copy the complete text from last message into QUALITYWINGS B787.ini

The only thing that can change this text after you copied it, is the OC4BAv4/Config, so do not run it after you have verified that the ini file is correct.

Then start a B787 in P3Dv4

If this doesn't work I need to check via TeamViewer later today.

Roar,

Yes that works, copying the text into the INI file.I wonder why the CONFIG was not sending the correct data!

I have tested and looked into the OC4BAv4 (4.5) and OCP4787 code, but haven't found anything that should strip away parts of the QUALITYWINGS B787.ini file.

What are version and date of the OC4BAv4.exe you use to make the QUALITYWINGS B787.ini file

Directly after you create a new QUALITYWINGS b787.ini file, what is the complete text in the file?

The version of OCB4V4 is 4.5.0.0 and dated 25/10/2018

Since I copied in the text from your email earlier, when I now create a new QUALITYWINGS 787.INI file all the text appears as it should.!!
I dont fully understand what is going on, but at least its now working.
