Hi
Just got the OC 747/767 FMC for Christmas and installed this.
Unfortunately, I only have the PMDG 777 installed, but the OCV4BAv4 configuration screen recoginses the FMCv3 in the Modules section and in the 777 cockpit configuration section, but I only get the "No Synch" message on the CDU screen when connecting.
Is there anything else that I need to do to get a connection, or does this CDU only work with the 747 and 767. If so, what 767 because PMDG don't make one.
All help will be gratefully received to get this working.
Ron

Re: Open Cockpits 747/767 FMC
You can use the OC 747/767 FMC. There are some small differencies from the OC 737 FMC,but most buttons are the same.
The synch problem you have has nothing to do with OC4BAv4. Check in your NVIDIA setup.

Many thanks for your reply.
Please excuse my ignorance, but what nVidea settings are you referring to. The OC FMC and EFIS modules I have are running perfectly with no video problems at all.
I was expecting a comment that some changes need to be made to an .ini file or some other file in order to establish a connection, but not to check video settings.
Would you please advise what you would like be to check.

It could be I misunderstood your issue.
What do you mean with "No synch" message on the CDU screen?
In your latest message you now say that the FMC runs OK?
I am confused.
Please describe your problem so I understand it

My humble apologies. I confused the acronym for my Open Cockpits Mode Control Panel.
I should have said my MCP and EFIS are working perfectly.
With all leads connected, the FMC CDU shows a blue screen with the error message "No Sync".
The only concern I have is that the unit was supplied with a VGA connection cable, and a USB type 2. As my only available USB port is a type C, I changed the supplied cable to fit. In addition my computer only has DVI-D and HDMI ports, I had to use an adapter and a length the DVI-D cable to reach from my desk to the computer. But surely this should work ok?
I can hardly blame you for being confused at my stupidity. Again, my apologies.

OK understand.
First check that your FMC is seen by OC4BAv4/Config or SIOC. The configured it with OC4BAv4 Config.
Test that the buttons works OK with SIOC/IOCPConsole
Make sure you use a correct VGA to DVI-D adapter.
