Problems about OC4BAv4 Script Editing

Post by lazlo »

Hello guys, I use this program to my home cockpit based on 737 NGX, and, at the moment, I have MCP v3 and USBOutputs card, this card:
http://www.opencockpits.com/catalog/usb ... Path=21_27.
MCP works perfectly, instead USB Outputs card must be configured, but I have two problems with this software:

1. OC4BAv4 Menu doesn't working, because there is an error about VCRUNTIME140.dll that is missing. I have installed Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x64), and then OC4BAv4 again, but nothing, it doesn't work. How can I solve this?
2. I wanted to modify OCP4NGX_PP_v4.0.ssi to use card USB Outputs to MIP annunciators, so I have watched video on flightsimforfun site about how to modify standard scripts, but when I create file txt, then right click on right part of script window, in the contextual menu there are only two choices, "Information" and "Open Sioc.exe", but I don't have "Open Notepad++.exe" and "Script edit", as I see in the video, so I don't know how I can use OC4BAv4 Script Editing to modify script for my Outputs card.

Can you help me?

You need Visual C++ 2015 (x86)
but I don't have "Open Notepad++.exe" and "Script edit"
If you do not have these menus, you have an old version.

I would recommend that you installed the latest OC4BAv4 version (v4.4) that was sent out to all OC4BAv4 owners some days ago.

If you do not have OC4BAv4, consider to buy the UPGRADE to OC4BAv4

After you have change the numbers to fit your card, also make a change to IDX 6 in script, i.e. Device 6 before recompiling
