Hello all,
Cameron from Las Vegas here. I am building a cockpit and am using Opencockpits P&P modules. I have managed to get the CDU, COM1, NAV1, ATC and EFIS working, but I have zero response from the MCPv3 (buttons, lights and all) and CDU LEDs such as DSPY, MSG, EXEC. I have tried different scripts and get no response. Does anyone have a script that would work or could look over mine and help. I am running FSX, PMDG737NGX on a custom rig. Windows 7, i7 processor, msi MB. Here is the script I am running through OCP4BA that allows everything else to work minus the CDU chunk that works due to character limits (by the way, I am an idiot when it comes to this stuff):

Re: FMC not working
You should use the
OCP4NGX_PP_MIP_v4.1.ssi script. It should work fine with all your modules.
Have you
[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1
in you 737NGX_Options.ini file ?
If this do not get rid of your problem, make sure you have the latest PMDG NGX version installed, the SP1D

Re: FMC not working
I tried using the OCP4NGX_PP_MIP_v4.1.ssi script and added EnableDataBroadcast=1 in my PMDG->Options file. Only the CDU and EFIS worked when I did this, so I had to modify the script with the SOIC from OpenCockpits to get the COM/NAV/ATC panels to work with it. I erased everything and did a clean install and still had the same issue. I haven't checked for the lasted PMDG version, but will and also do another clean install to see if it will work.
Re: FMC not working
It will not work correctly if you are not using hte latest PMDG NGX version. This is clearly stated in the MUST READ file.
There is no need to modify the script file if you are using standard P&P muodules from Opencockpits.

Re: FMC not working
I apologize, let me clarify the steps after i did a clean install. I have the latest version/update for PMDG737NGX (SP1D), I have SOIC5.1, OC4BAv4 (I even checked for updates) and I have a full version of FSUIPC. I installed SOIC, ensured the
[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1 is in the options.ini for PMDG, and then installed OC4BA. All the files are in the correct directory, I followed the steps in the MUST READ ME file and even tried changing the port to 8094 and then to 8096 and deleting the "cockpit" .ini files before restarting OC4BA and using the OCP4NGX_PP_MIP_v4.1.ssi script. This is what happens:
CDU - Working except for the LED's
COM - When TFR button is pressed, display lights up to 100.000 and will not change when the rotary knobs are moved.
NAV - Same as COM
ATC - Only the switches work, no display
EFIS - Works 100%
MCP - Buttons work but do not light up on MCP, switches work, but LED's do not, Displays do not light up, nor do the rotary knobs affect the PMDG displays. The HDG display shows -99 and when turned over and over again, will eventually "sync" and the display on the MCP will change and reflect in the PMDG. All other displays and rotarys do not function.
Note: OC4BA is in the Add-On's menu in FSX, however nothing happens when I click it. I have to go to the SOIC folder and launch it from there.
My last resort is to complete erase everything, including my FSX files from the drive and install everything again, but I would rather avoid that as I have spent many hours with other payware tweaking and tuning. I am not trying to be difficult, but after spending almost $2,000, I am anxious to get it working.

Re: FMC not working
It seems to me that you have done everything correctly, but if so it should work. I would uninstalled the B737 NGX and make a reinstall.
If you want I can connect via TeamViewer.

Re: FMC not working
You are amazing! I deleted the NGX, OC4BA and SOIC and did a re-install of them. After installing the PMDG from the website, I went to the PMDG Operations Center and checked for updates. I then installed SOIC 5.1 and then OC4BAv4. I edited the PMDG options.ini folder for the DataBroadcast and ensured the pathway to the fsx.xml file showed <Path>C:\SIOC\OC4BA_Menu.exe</Path> . After that, I loaded FSX, selected the 737NGX, ran OC4BA, selected help and read through that again and then selected Config and loaded the plane and now everything works perfectly. I apologize for the headache I may have caused and thank you for the help and for this program. Now I just need my TQ to arrive and I will be almost 75% done with my cockpit. Thanks Again!

Following the Must Read exactly is the
way to a working installation.
Glad to hear it is now working for you.
