A new panel.cfg improves the FMC screen layout.


Change panel.cfg for your PMDG B747-400 aircraft in

FSX/P3D\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 747 -400
and paste in the text below over the orininal text after you have taken a backup

New updated OCP4747_v4.2.ssi release:

1. Fixes EFIS-Captain Range bug. Now all ranges from 5 to 640 can be selected.

Info about next update coming this week



It will have the following reported issues corrected:


1. Issues with ALT knob that start decreasing altitude instead of increasing when turning the LAT knob to the right. ( correction code done)
2. FMC leds ( EXEC + fault leds) not working ( correction code done)
3. MINS setting not working as it should. ( correction code under development)

If more issues are reported before Thursday evening 6 PM GMT, they will corrected a added to the coming update.

Latest OCP4747X driver and OCP4747X script file is now updated:

What is changed since last version


1. Improved logic for all MCP and EFIS rotaries. ALT knob now let you change the altitude from ground level to 40000 feet in a few turns. Much better sync with the virtual displays.
2. EFIS MINS and BARO are now working both fast and slow. IMPORTANT!!! You need to go to FMC MENU/ PMDG SETUP/AIRCRAFT/EQUIPMENT/ page 20 and change MINS and BARO to ROTARY. This must be done for every aircraft you fly.
3. FMC EXEC and fault Leds are now working
4. TOGA switch implemented by rotating CRSL- Left 2 turns to left.
5. IAS/MACH SEL knob is now working
6. VS and IAS windows are now fully sync’d
7. VS window do not show leading 0 anymore
8. AT/ARM, FD_L and FD_R Leds are now lightning up when these switches are activated
9. All MCP buttons logic are improved
10. EFIS RST is now working
11. COM2 radio is implemented
12. HDG display shows 000 and not 360 anymore

hi this update was amzing it adds the feeling of a real mcp could you do the same for the 777 and the 737 regarding the mcp digits fast movment that will be great! thanks!

I will update the drivers for the B737NGX and PMDG B777 soon, so they use the same new rotary logic code.

Glad you like the update. as I put a lot off time to improve it.

The updates for the B737 and B777 drivers will be released later this week( I hope).

Hi well i've tried working the mcp in P3D V4 and it works but the screens dosent work in the mcp allthough i can work all the buttons and knobs except altitude. is an update coming?
