Heading display to show Bank angle?

Post by CAVENEY747 »

When using the HDG SEL Knob to change the maximum bank angle, it is impossible to see what angle you have selected without looking at the knob in the virtual cockpit, which sort of negates the reason for using the MCP module. Is there any way to change the Heading display to show the selected bank angle when the knob is in bank angle select mode ? By the way, I am using the PMDG737 NGX in FSX SE with MCP v3 module. Thanks for any advice.

The PMDG B737 NGX's SDK has no variable for this function.

But, It can be implemented in the script code with some clever coding. I do not have any time to do this myself now, but maybe someone can give it a try.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I have no idea about writing code but if some other clever person was capable of doing it and had the time, that would be great. I'm sure it would be a useful function for anyone with the MCP panel using the PMDG 737 to have!
