Hi,
My name is Stijn from the netherlands and just starting with SIOC and OC4BA.
Now i have installed OC4BA according to the must read file included with the download and read the manual. I think i've configured it correctly.
My idea was to use the OCP4NGX_v4.0 script and just alter the device nr. (6 as i am using only 1 usboutputs card) and the output nr.
But it does not seem to work . ( Note: card works with other scripts before i installed OC4BA)
If there something i'm missing maybe some one could give me some information on how they set up their cards.
It seems like the pmdg isnt communicating with the card/sioc
cheers
Stijn
OC USBoutput card problems (SOLVED)
Re: OC USBoutput card problems
HI,
Using script 4.0 should work if you do things correctly.
1. The Output card must be configured correctly in sioc.ini.
I do not have the OutputCard myself, but you should have it like MASTER=6,6,1,YY ( First 6 is IDX/Device, Second 6 is OutputCard ID, 1 is default, YY is USB number)
2. The script outputs you want to connect via the OutputCard must be edited to match your device number for the OutputCard and the output number(s) you use.
If you would like to have output 5 on OutputCard to act as FP 2 Fwd LED on the OVH Panel
it should be :
Var 0075, static, Link IOCARD_OUT, Device 6, Output 5 // FP 2 Fwd LED
AS you do not have any OVH panel using the 4.0 script can be a little tricky. In order to activate the sending of output states, the BATTERY SW must be switched from 0 to 1. This will set EL_STATE = 15 and the outputs are sent.
Another way to do this is to use the 2.0 script and copy over the parts from script 4.0 you need and then do the editing of those parts.

Re: OC USBoutput card problems
Hi,
number 1 and 2 are done correctly, since I can control the leds via the IOCPconsole.
Now i tried using the v2 version: What i did was just added the script for the LE Extend light and changed an var since it was allready used. but no help.
One thing i just read on the site you have to set var 2800 to 1 because if not it would not send data.
I could not find an more info on how to do this, can you maybe explain it to me?
I think this must be the problem but i dont no how to solve it.
Thanks
Stijn

Re: OC USBoutput card problems
Do you have the SP1D vesrion of B737NGX?
Have you enabled data broadcast?
[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1
see MUST READ Doc.
Setting Var 2800 to 1 is not necessary any longer. ( Need to update the info)
If you are not seeing any output changes in IOCPConsole when using script 2.0 when using some rotaries on the Virtual MCP, there is some problem with your setup.
You should also be able to see changes in outputs with script 4.0 if you set EL_STATE = 15 in IOCPConsole. Turn on LOG.

Re: OC USBoutput card problems
Hello,
Yes I do have sp1D installed
Reinstalled everything but no help, also when looking in the log i do not see output changes when turning the mcp knobs in flightsim and the V2 script loaded.
SDK is enabled, i have no clue what i'm doing wrong here.
Do you have more suggestions?
Thanks
Stijn

Re: OC USBoutput card problems
What is the text in sioc.ini and PMDG B737.ini files?
Are OCP4NGX.exe and SIOC.exe up and running when you do the test?
