I'm looking at getting the forward overhead panel the aft and pedestal from opencockpits!

I was told i had post on here to see if the aft overhead was compitable with this software, so does the aft OH work fine with the NGX?

fine in OC4BA. All Events and
Variables are available, but a

Hi,

Every Opencockpits module, eg. MCP,EFIS etc need to have a special script to work in SIOC and OC4BA/OCP4NGX. With OC4BA/OCP4NGX, scripts for FWD OVH, MCP, EFISs, CDUs, COMs, NAVs, ADF, ATC, MIP, FirePanel
are freely distributed. At this time I have no AFT OVH script available as I do not have this in my cockpit yet.

It is fairly easy to do the script if one knows SIOC scripting. All Events and Variables for AFT OVH is available in OCP4NGX.

All function in the PMDG B737 NGX cockpit can be used with OCP4NGX, but not all scripts have been done so far. The missing at this time is the AFT OVH and some minor functions in the Pedestal.

Forgot to add how many cables am i going to deal with for the pedestal and both overheads? Ie usb cables and power cables?

Every function needs a script to work.

Main Instrument Panel(MIP) incl. Gear handle & annunciators and Flaps gauge
Glarewings : AFDS - SIXPACKS - FIRE HANDLES
Captain CHRONO - First Officer CHRONO
COM1 - NAV1 - COM2 - NAV2 - ADF - ATC/Transponder.

You need
FWD OVH = 3 USB cables + 5V and 12V
AFT OVH = 2 USB cables + 5V and 12V

No, but there are scripts for FSX and ProSim ( look at www.opencockpits.com), so it is quite easy to modify one of these to work with OC4BA
