Hi,
First try this:
1. Download and install the latest USB drivers for your motherboard.
2. Connect you Opencockpits module directly to an USB connection in your PC, not via nay external USB Hub.
3. Uncheck Power Saving mode for the USB you have connected to Opencockpits modules. ( via Device Manager, USB Root Hub, Power Management)
Users that are having driver crash issues should check that no other program uses port 8092 for TCP/UDP communication.
Second try this:
The OCP4NGX, OCP4777 drivers and OC4BAConfig all use port 8092 to communicate with the SIOC IOCP Server.
Port 8092 is hardcoded in OC4BA software and if interference happens with other software also using this port, a crash can occur.
Known App that also uses port 8092 are Apple / iTunes.
You can start the netstat -aon at the Command Promt. Find the port 8092 and identify the PID ( ID of other software using port 8092). Then start the Process Explorer and find the same PID. Now try to Kill that process and see if this is causing the problem. If this helps make sure that this other software is not running when OCP4NGX or OCP4777 are active with SIOC.
The Process Explorer can be downloaded from

Re: OCP4NGX and OCP4777 driver crash info
I too have sioc.exe with port 8092
Re: OCP4NGX and OCP4777 driver crash info
Hi, popovichyr,You also have problems with ocp4ngx.exe?
Re: OCP4NGX and OCP4777 driver crash info
I can't see that any other program is using port 8092. So there seems not to be any interference issues going on on your PC.Hello, as I interruptions OCP4NGX.exe I show you my screenshot Netstat -aon, I have a line in addition to your example.
127.0.0.1: 8092 is going to ID 7540 sioc.exe.
sioc.exe: 7540
oc4ba.exe: 7580
ocp4ngx.exe: 5324
The 127.0.0.1: 8092 is going to ID 7540 sioc.exe should be correct. It is the OCP4NGX (Client) communicatiing over port 8092 that SIOC ( server) is listening on.
The syn_sent from sioc on 8099 is also OK.
DO you have your OC modules connected directly to USB ports on your PC, not via any external USB hubs?
Have you tried the latest SIOC 5.1B2?

Yes , I have problems with ocp4ngx.exe, crash with error after I push any toggle
Re: OCP4NGX and OCP4777 driver crash info
DId it also crash using older versions of drivers and scripts?popovichyr wrote:Yes , I have problems with ocp4ngx.exe, crash with error after I push any toggle
What type of OC modules do you have?
Re: OCP4NGX and OCP4777 driver crash info
Hello, I have not tried the latest version of SIOC 5.1b2;
I'll do a test.
I have 3 USB cards
1-for my 3 motherboards overhead
1 for the servo flaps (PID)
1- Outputs for MIP map)
For its 3 USB ports I use a powered hub.
I do not think this is a HUB usb problem because sometimes I flights of three hours is going smoothly.
On the site of OpenCockpit they only mention of 5.0B5
Dominique.

It is very hard to find this reason for the crash. I have never had them myself. A lot of users do not have any crash, but some have.
What I have seen is that users that have crashes also have WIn7.
It is always wise to reduce the number of services, tasks and programs that are running at the same time you fly and uses SIOC and OC4BA
Why not try the free WIn10 Preview. It is very good imo.
Here is the latest SIOC version:

Re: OCP4NGX and OCP4777 driver crash info
Hello, I found myself last 5.1b2 release
I just upgrade the software and I made a test flight that resulted in a ocp4ngx stop after one hour of flight.
I am on Win 7. I found that when I do not put a weather engine and I reduced the interfaces with FSX I have no problem.
